| Abstract |
| This study meticulously examines the effectiveness and determinants of government interventions aimed at improving the health and nutritional status of under-five tribal children in Attappady, Kerala. Employing a crosssectional survey-based approach, the research assesses the effectiveness of prevailing government interventions, and explores how socio-demographic and community factors influence the effectiveness of these initiatives. The findings reveal that approximately half of the respondents express dissatisfaction with the perceived effectiveness despite governmental efforts, with demographic factors and community dynamics emerging as significant determinants. The implications underscore the need for community-centric interventions and evidence-based policy adjustments to ensure sustained improvements in the health and nutrition of tribal children. |
