About the Journal
The International Journal of Culture Studies and Social Sciences (IJCSSS) is a UGC-approved, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the promotion of high-quality research in the broad domains of culture studies and social sciences. The Journal is published by the Tagore Gandhi Institute for Culture Studies and Service–Learning (TGI) and Shakespeare Society of Eastern India (SSEI) in collaboration with Avantgarde Press. The articles published in the Journal reflect the best of scholarship and intellectual enquiry. The journal provides an intellectual platform for scholars, researchers, teachers, and practitioners to engage in critical dialogue and interdisciplinary inquiry addressing contemporary cultural, social, political, and economic issues at national and global levels.
IJCSSS encourages original research articles, review papers, case studies, and theoretical explorations that contribute to the understanding of cultural dynamics and social structures. Peer reviewed content
The International Journal of Cultural Studies and Social Sciences (ISSN: 2347-4777), published by the Tagore Gandhi Institute, is a rigorously peer-reviewed academic journal committed to maintaining high scholarly standards. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring impartial evaluation based solely on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Each submission is reviewed by subject-matter experts drawn from diverse academic institutions and research backgrounds. Authors are required to address reviewers’ comments and make necessary revisions before final acceptance.

Abstracts and Article Titles
The International Journal of Cultural Studies and Social Sciences is a journal published in English language. Each paper contains an abstract with few keywords of the paper. Title of the paper and name and academic affiliation of the contributors are clearly mentioned in the text for wide response of the reader.
Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement
All the papers are carefully checked by blind peer review. And plagiarism is checked and verified by the standard software to keep the ethics of the journal. All the papers are original contribution of the writer with a definite research methodology, research question and research output. The papers published elsewhere in any form is not considered for inclusion in this journal. This policy is clearly mentioned in Publication Ethics

International Journal of Culture Studies and Social Sciences is a biannual journal published in the months of December and June. The articles published in the Journal reflect the best of scholarship and intellectual enquiry. IJCSSS welcomes critical essays and research articles from academicians and scholars across various disciplines like history, literature, politics, culture studies, anthropology, gender studies, science, commerce, management and other relevant fields of investigation. No author fees or charges are required for manuscript processing and/or publishing materials in the journal.
Process for identification of and dealing with allegations of research misconduct
The editorial board takes reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication, among others (if situation arises). In no case the journal or its editors encourage such misconduct, or knowingly allow such misconduct to take place. In the event that a journal’s publisher or editors are made aware of any allegation of research misconduct relating to a published article in their journal, the publisher or editor follow COPE’s guidelines (or equivalent) in dealing with allegations.

Revenue sources
As per business policy some printed copies are sold following trading rules and regulation of the Government of India. The expenses for total process are addressed by the editor in chief in different ways.
Advertising
Till now the journal has not published any advertisement in any issue of the journal. However, there is no objection from the authority of the journal for publishing any kind of academic advertisement following the contents and the standard of the journal.
Direct marketing
Any direct marketing activities, including solicitation of manuscripts that are conducted on behalf of the journal, shall be appropriate, well targeted, and unobtrusive. Information provided about the publisher or journal is expected to be truthful and not misleading for readers or authors.
The printed copies of the journal are displayed at different academic seminars and conferences organized by Shakespeare Society of Eastern India and Tagore-Gandhi Institute wherefrom anyone can buy the printed copy of the journal. Moreover, few copies are circulated among the book sellers and other publishers for direct marketing.
