About the Journal
The International Journal of Culture Studies and Social Sciences (IJCSSS) is a UGC-approved, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the promotion of high-quality research in the broad domains of culture studies and social sciences. The Journal is published by the Tagore Gandhi Institute for Culture Studies and Service–Learning (TGI) and Shakespeare Society of Eastern India (SSEI) in collaboration with Avantgarde Press. The articles published in the Journal reflect the best of scholarship and intellectual enquiry. The journal provides an intellectual platform for scholars, researchers, teachers, and practitioners to engage in critical dialogue and interdisciplinary inquiry addressing contemporary cultural, social, political, and economic issues at national and global levels.
IJCSSS encourages original research articles, review papers, case studies, and theoretical explorations that contribute to the understanding of cultural dynamics and social structures. The journal adopts a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic integrity, originality, and relevance. By fostering interdisciplinary perspectives, the journal bridges gaps between humanities and social science disciplines and promotes innovative approaches to research and scholarship.

Submission Guidelines
1. International Journal of Culture Studies and Social Sciences is a biannual journal published in the months of December and June. The articles published in the Journal reflect the best of scholarship and intellectual enquiry. IJCSSS welcomes critical essays and research articles from academicians and scholars across various disciplines like history, literature, politics, culture studies, anthropology, gender studies, science, commerce, management and other relevant fields of investigation. Papers submitted should be innovative and thought-provoking in approach.

2. In accordance with UGC guidelines, all submitted articles are sent to suitable experts for blind peer-review. Any change or modification suggested by them is intimated to the contributor/s in due course. The editorial board reserves the right to make any final alterations/ modifications in the paper for conceptual clarity and coherence. Unaccepted papers are not returned to the contributors.

3. Manuscripts should adhere to the standard MLA Ninth edition / Chicago/ APA style-sheet and formatting.

4. All papers should be in Times New Roman font, 12 size, 1.5 single line spaced with justified alignment and 1” margin on all sides. Contributors must send their papers in MS Word format only. Any other format (like PDF, Linux Libre Office, Mac OS Pages, Google Docs etc.) is not allowed. Footnotes and Endnotes are permitted.

5. The articles should be within 2500-4500 words. Contributors should submit an Abstract (of not more than 150 words) and a brief Bio-Note (within 50-100 words) in the same file.

6. Contributors must provide their institutional affiliation, contact number and complete e-mail addresses along with their articles. Please send all correspondence to Dr.Tapu Biswas (tapu_biswas@yahoo.com/drtapubiswas@gmail.com) For the December issue, submit your manuscript within 15th October; for the June Issue submit within 15th April.

7. Contributors are advised to be careful about spelling and grammatical errors.

8. For all copyright materials, the writer should get and have the permission from the proper authorities. The articles are expected to be free from any kind of plagiarism (significance <10%). If needed, the writer has to submit a plagiarism report. The responsibility of any kind of copyright infringement would fall on the contributor.

9. Please enclose the plagiarism report from the official site .
